Limbgenixx makes and fits custom insoles, arch supports, diabetic footwear and offloading footwear at our centre in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, for patients travelling from across India. Foot work is measured or cast from your own foot, so the fitting stages happen in person — but the first conversation can happen from anywhere.
Feet come to us for very different reasons: diabetes with reduced sensation, flat feet or high arches, heel pain, pressure points that keep breaking down, a foot that has already had an ulcer, a deformity that ordinary shoes no longer accommodate, or a partial foot amputation. What is right for one of those is wrong for another, which is why suitability depends on an individual assessment rather than on a product name.
Nothing on this page is a diagnosis or a treatment guarantee. Footwear and insoles are designed to help distribute load, cushion and protect — they do not cure diabetes or neuropathy, and no insole can promise that an ulcer will heal. Yes. Extra-depth diabetic shoes, MCR-footbed diabetic sandals, and custom footwear where a foot will not fit a stock shoe safely. For indoor slippers, ask us with what you need and we will tell you honestly whether we can supply something suitable.
A ready-made insole is manufactured in standard sizes and you pick the closest. A custom insole is made from a cast or scan of your own foot, so the arch contour and relief areas match your foot rather than an average. Ready-made is often enough for mild problems; custom matters where there is deformity, reduced sensation or a site that keeps breaking down.
An insole built with the arch profile your foot actually has, rather than a generic arch shape. It may be considered for symptomatic flat feet, high arches, heel pain or where load needs redistributing. Whether it is appropriate for you depends on assessment, not on the symptom alone.
Products designed to help move load away from one part of the foot and spread it onto areas that tolerate pressure better. They are used where a site keeps breaking down or has healed after an ulcer. They support clinical management rather than replacing it, and we cannot promise a wound will heal.
Anything custom-made. A custom insole or custom footwear is cast or measured from your foot, then fitted and adjusted while you stand and walk, so those stages happen at one of our centres. Ready-made items can often be supplied once we have accurate measurements.
Ready-made insoles, supports and footwear can generally be sent once the size is settled - message us and we will tell you what to measure. Custom work needs a visit. Once we hold your details, replacement consumables are easier to arrange.
We discuss the problem and what you need to do on your feet, then look at foot shape and arch profile, areas of high pressure, callus and skin condition, joint movement, how you stand and walk, and whether sensation is reduced. Measurements and a cast or scan follow if a custom device is being made.

Some assistive devices are covered for eligible people under schemes such as ADIP through ALIMCO, and state disability schemes. Eligibility depends on the current rules and documentation requirements of the relevant scheme or authority, not on us. We can advise on what paperwork is usually needed, but please confirm your own eligibility with the scheme before relying on it.

For a foot with reduced sensation, an insole spreads load across the whole plantar surface instead of a few prominences. Fitted with the footwear it will sit inside.
Adjustable straps to accommodate swelling through the day, a cushioned footbed and a firm sole. Made to take a custom insole rather than crowd it.
The sole profile does the work: cushioning to absorb impact, with enough stiffness to control how the foot loads through the step.
Hook-and-loop fastening, so the fit can be changed through the day and the sandal can be managed with stiff hands or poor eyesight.
Open toe box removes pressure from the toes, which matters where toes are clawed or a nail is problematic.
A thong-style sandal on a cushioned orthopaedic footbed. Suited to indoor and light outdoor use rather than distance walking.
